The ABB GCP100 Gas Chromatograph is a next-generation process gas analyzer engineered for accurate, real-time analysis of complex gas mixtures. Part of ABB’s GCPro™ Series, the GCP100 supports natural gas, biogas, refining, petrochemical, and other hydrocarbon-processing applications where measurement accuracy, operational reliability, and secure data access are essential.

Designed for custody transfer, regulatory compliance, process control, and emissions monitoring, the GCP100 can analyze and quantify gas composition across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. Its high-sensitivity thermal conductivity detector (TCD) provides detection down to 1 ppm, while extended analytical operating temperatures from 60°C to 100°C expand its suitability across a wide variety of applications.

The ABB GCP100 is the world’s first gas chromatograph with built-in cybersecurity. Tested to ABB cybersecurity standards and compliant with IEC 62443-4-2, it helps protect analyzer integrity and operational data while supporting secure connectivity. Integrated Wi-Fi, role-based access, and a browser-based interface give authorized users convenient access to analysis results, alarms, configuration settings, reports, diagnostics, and historical data from the field or office.

Built for remote and hazardous locations, the GCP100 features a compact, weatherproof, flameproof, and explosion-proof design that does not require a complex purge system. Front-access components, simple wall mounting, and a modular analytical architecture help streamline installation and field service. Ultra-low 12-watt power consumption also makes the analyzer well suited for installations where power availability and operating costs are important considerations.

Advanced diagnostics, predictive-maintenance capabilities, and ABB’s Dynamic QR Code help teams identify analyzer health issues and troubleshoot problems faster. Combined with digital connectivity and My Measurement Assistant+, these capabilities can reduce maintenance downtime by up to 75%.
