ABB’s TFIO (Total Flow Input/Output) Modules are designed to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of automation systems. DIGITAL

The TFIO module is a configurable 8-point digital I/O module. Each point can be configured to be either an input and/or output. All points are always inputs; however, if the output is activated the input will be held steady state. The module also maintains a 16-bit accumulator for each input; thus allowing any point to be used as a pulse accumulator.

The combination input/output Valve Control TFIO module is a software-configurable module specifically tailored for valve control applications. The module incorporates six general -purpose digital/pulse input/outputs, two source mode digital outputs and one 4-20mA sink/source mode analog output are also provided.

COMMUNICATION INTERFACE

ABB TFIO Module Communication 2100421-005: XFC 6410 G4, TFIO Communication interface module, software configurable serial interface capable of communicating with RS-232, RS-422 or two-wire RS-485 devices at baud rates from 300-38,400 bps. This module does not support legacy (3 wire) UCI direction control.
