ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Barksdale Intelligent Transmitters (BiT), Series 450X, are advanced high-pressure, explosion-proof transmitters designed for critical applications. Featuring the HART® communication protocol option, these transmitters can communicate over traditional two-wire 4-20 mA analog current loops, providing smart features such as transmitter diagnostics, calibration, and field re-ranging with a 10:1 turndown ratio. The Series 450X includes three models: Series H455X with 4-20 mA output and HART® Communication Protocol, Series 455X with 4-20 mA output, and Series 452X with 1-5 VDC output. These models support 24 standard pressure ranges from vacuum to 30,000 psi and offer various process connections, including 1/4” NPT, 7/16” SAE, and HF4 Autoclave high-pressure connections. The Series 450X is designed to meet North American, European, and international hazardous area explosion protection standards, with approvals from ATEX, IECEx, and cULus.
